what your best live gig ?

I've been to a lot of gigs over the years and been fortunate enough to play with some good bands on the bill as well . . . .

most recently Love at the DOme was outstanding

I saw James Brown in 1984 pre living in America etc

Santane in 1992 was pretty good.

my best day out was Glastonbury poss 95 or 96, I saw Joan Aromour plating, later Elvis Costello and the attractions, followed bt Paul Weller . . . . .awsome, in fact PW is one of the best live performers around on his day IMHO

one of the most influential gigs I went to was at my local in Shoreham, Miller Anderson (ex T-Rex, Keef Hartley band, amongst many others, and a successful solo artist) playing and jamming with the late and very great Mick Ronson , awesome
:clap2:

The Streets at the Concorde last August was top notch but the Beastie Boys at Wembley arena supported by Jungle Brothers and Bentley Rhythm Ace tops them all.

LIVING IN SIN
ive been to a few in my time but for atmosphere has to be Bad Manners down the concorde 2 a few years ago, i dont think ive danced franticly non stop at a gig b4.

The biggest surprise was at the Epsom Derby 2 years ago, there was a classic FM stage , Edwin Starr (R.I.P) performed with live band ,he was superb. dont really think 1000,s of punters appreciated him though!

The Jam - when they played the Dome in (I think) '78 was probably the best of their Brighton concerts. But it's so long ago I can hardly remember.

Jam, Crawley Leisure Centre played about 30 mins max full skinhead mass riot, centre surrounded with police in riot gear etc as can imagine fans well pissed having bn ripped off with short gig but until then ranks better than Meatloaf and Bob Marley @ Btn Centre

Manics at Btn Centre few yrs back were good too!
