Being only young I haven't seen much (nor probably the kind you'll all like); however Foo Fighters at the weekend was unbelievable.

Yes, another brilliant band I've seen live, Dave Grohl certainly knows how to work a crowd, all of them great musicians.

Madness put on a good show at the Brighton Centre about seven years ago now, as did the Aussie Pink Floyd at the same place...

Seeing the Beastie Boys in Brixton will always be remembered fondly

Too hard to narrow down, but Big Country were amazing. RIP Stuart Adamson

Isn't it odd, I liked their records, but saw them on their first ever tour, supporting Alice Cooper (I think) as the Stuart Adamson Band, they were really bad, then saw them some years later as Big Country, supporting Bowie, and again they were poor.

Not too difficult to work out which side you'd have been on in the Mods v Rockers thread!

Always enjoy these threads. Always good being over 40 so you can normally lord it over the yougsters with the breadth of your musical experience. I am not a festival type person but I have to give a big shout to Florence Welch for that performance at Reading Saturday Night (Thank god for BBC3).

Driving Rain throughout and curiously messianic.
