God yes I forgot how powerful they were. never saw Humble Pie but saw Steve Marriott's Packet of Three at the Fairfield Halls one time - which gave rise to the quote from Mr Marriott "The management have asked me to ask you to sit down and I said (pause) "f*** Off" I mean yer just having a good time aincha ?" - Mr Marriott was (sadly) never invited back to play !!

"The Thieving Magpie" isn't fantastic in comparison to some of the other live recordings Marillion and Fish have released. "Return to Childhood" has, in my opinion, a much better reading of Misplaced Childhood and "Live at Loreley" is a better overall band performance.
