Made me laugh..

Poster for SCOPE of some kid in calipers standing in a field...Strapline read: A Year ago he was bedbound, Six months ago he was in a wheelchair, today he took his first steps..."
underneath someone had written "Tomorrow he signs for Orient"

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
:lolol: That reminds me of a poster that used to be dotted around the campus at Uni.

It was about drinking and the poster said....

"I remember going for a..." BLANK "..and woke up with a " BLANK "...across my face".

The two options were Kebab and slash.

Someone went round and filled them in - the incorrect version that is... :lolol:

A long time favourite of mine was on a condom machine in the gents of some pub or another.

Underneath the sticker saying "This machine is alarmed", someone had written "The other one's scared shitless"

Also remember one in Bond Street where someone had sprayed

"Brits out of Ireland" which had "Paddies out of Britain" as a riposte.

In the mid 1980's in Northern Ireland you used to get the posters and the like with the slogan ' Ulster Says No'.

Under one of these somebody had written 'But the Man from Delmonte says Yes and he Knows', which was half amusing.

There was a huge picture of Paisley shouting in one of the tabloids on the weekend which ended up pinned to a door in the bogs in a pub here with "ULSTER SAYS MAYBE" scrawled across it.

Oh well, it was amusing at the time

I saw "God is black" scrawled on the back of a public toilet door once, to which some smart alec had scribbled "Yes she is" beneath.

In a library, near the "outsize" books section:
"I couldn't put this book down" - Melvyn Bragg
"I couldn't pick this book up" - Karen Carpenter
