Best Graffiti Humour

[Trufflehound]

Some ancient graffiti once said:

"Richard Nixon should be bloody well hung."

To which someone had added:

"He is! He is!"

One of my favourites was not strctly graffiti - but was apparently inspired by it - Alf Garnet walks past church outside of which a large orange poster proclaims "Jesus saves!"

"Not on my blody pension he wouldn't" mutters Alf.

 

[Theatre of Trees]

One that sticks most in the memory is some grafitti in Manchester University bogs circa 1989 where someone had written:

"Doctor Who is ace"

and someone underneath had written

"No he isn't that's Sophie Aldred"

An old one in the 60's in Liverpool:

What would you do if Jesus were amoung us?

Below someone had written

Move St John over to the left

On a wall at Upper Lewes road once"Go on,phone in sick"
