I've not tried it yet, but have been meaning to head to Fish at Hove Lagoon to give it a whirl, would be good to know if anyone else has tried it?

Fish at Hove Lagoon is very good. Next at Hove Lagoon is next to Fish at Hove Lagoon and is a clothes outlet.

I used to go to Sea Haze at least every other week for over a decade, but it's just doing the seafood store on the sea-front now. This is because Neil (the father) has retired from fishing so Jack (the son) would have become solely dependent on getting fish in from (expensive) Billingsgate.
Fish by the lagoon is the next best option.

Some friends of mine have a very fussy Spanish mate who visits them in Brighton every so often. When he flies over from Seville, he brings an extra suitcase laden with olive oil, wine, canned fish, rice, you name it, seemingly of the belief that good quality products cannot be found in Blighty. Nice guy but a bit of a nut. Anyway, a few years back he wanted to cook some fish so they asked me where would be a good place to take him. Upon my recommendation they went to Hove Lagoon and the finicky Spaniard was suitably impressed.

Sounds like excellent recommendation then! (y) Thanks

The one next to Haywards Heath station won best one in Britain couple years back I believe, though have never been to. Do lot online as they all do nowadays.
