Bulb for me too. Find an existing customer to refer you and you both get £50. Cheapest deal for me.

Octopus. Which? magazine rated No1 supplier and they are good!

I was perfectly happy with Bulb until last winter when they changed their discretionary criteria for the warm home discount and excluded me (having applied it to my account the previous winter). I'd contacted them last autumn to make sure I would get it and they said it wouldn't be a problem. £140 out of pocket.

Octopus - very good, great easy feed of readings and submissions of bills, easy, no issues for a number of years. Very simple.

Another vote for Octopus. A refreshing and hassle free approach for 18 months so far.

Based on daily standing charges, I saved a decent wedge switching from Avro to Aussie supplier Lumo, although they’re both good in my experience.

I'm with octopus, very easy to deal with, decent online interface.

No gas where I live and this winter I used a bit more than expected and had a big negative balance. They weren't dicks about it, we had a chat and readjusted my DD to rebalance it over 12 months. Much better than the big 5 who are ALWAYS looking to fleece you.

I’m a SSE fan - but only a great deal if you sign up to gas+electric+broadband.

On that deal I pay £13 for my phone and fibre broadband. That saves me more on my phone and broadband that I could save by having gas+electric with anyone else. I mean BT line rental is £16 per month and I am paying £3 less than that for phone and fibre broadband
