When it comes to making chocolate, my next door neighbours (for now) really are the experts, other than beer it is what they are good at. There is a shop in Maastricht selling Australian chocolate and Ice Cream and that is pretty good too.
Van der Gully said:Mad Gerald, have just returned home from an evening at the cinema in "Belgium", and very pleasant it was too, watched American Pie - The Wedding. I wish to contest your opinion of the Belgians, they are certainly not dullards, only a nation with some genius could produce chocolate of the quality they make, have you tried any of their beers, some have mind bending properties, they are also obsessed with food and boast a cuisine to rival the French.
My advice to you all, don't just view Belgium as a country to be seen from the motorway whilst passing through, stop for a while and enjoy what is on offer, you may be pleasantly surprised. And as for sausage munching, surely you mean the Germans!!!
