I like that chocolate you get in like an egg shape - and it's hollow in the middle. But I can only ever find them between xmas and april.

Why is that - does anyone know?

I prefer the Lindt 70% stuff. Tried the Green and Blacks and it was good, but the Lindt chocolate is more 'waiffer thin' and tastes better for it IMHO.

On the subject of Choccywoccydoodah (someone else mentioned it), me and MRS MG ordered our wedding cake from them 4 years ago and got the designer to do us a blue and white number with chocolate footballs. She said it was the first time she'd been asked to do a football design before.

It was chuffing gorgeous too!

:) :) :)

I love Galaxy Ripple (& no, that's not rhyming slang! :p)

But I have been Diabetic for the last two years & that really rules them out (although I do scoff a sneaky one now & then!)

As a confirmed chocoholic, is there really such a thing, but I eat some nearly every day so that must qualify me as an addict, can I vote for Belgian chocolate. When it comes to making chocolate, my next door neighbours (for now) really are the experts, other than beer it is what they are good at. There is a shop in Maastricht selling Australian chocolate and Ice Cream and that is pretty good too.

Couldn't agree more. Popped over to Brussels a few weeks back and bought a big box of Belgies. Each one was a little taste of heaven.

My Choccywoccy.. wedding cake was made with imported Belgian chocolate.

They get a bad press usually, but when it comes to chocolate I take my hat off to those sausage-munching, gobbledigook-speaking dullards.

Mad Gerald, have just returned home from an evening at the cinema in "Belgium", and very pleasant it was too, watched American Pie - The Wedding. I wish to contest your opinion of the Belgians, they are certainly not dullards, only a nation with some genius could produce chocolate of the quality they make, have you tried any of their beers, some have mind bending properties, they are also obsessed with food and boast a cuisine to rival the French.

My advice to you all, don't just view Belgium as a country to be seen from the motorway whilst passing through, stop for a while and enjoy what is on offer, you may be pleasantly surprised. And as for sausage munching, surely you mean the Germans!!!
