You saw The End? They are one of my favourite bands, and their LP 'Introspection' produced by Bill Wyman, is sublime.
Obscure late-sixties, but as good as anything out there.

Ah Big Apple, above the old Regent Cinema! I remember it well, I would add The Kinks to your list there though and I remember seeing Emerson, Lake & Palmer at the same venue.

I also recall seeing Family at the Brighton Dome in 1970, my first ever rock gig.

Ah Big Apple, above the old Regent Cinema! I remember it well, I would add The Kinks to your list there though and I remember seeing Emerson, Lake & Palmer at the same venue.

I also recall seeing Family at the Brighton Dome in 1970, my first ever rock gig.

Didn't see the Kinks but was at the other two. Did you have trouble with your hearing after the ELP gig; don't think I heard much for a couple of days?
