You can't predict what will happen next season, just look at Sheffield United. Anything is possible!

Sheffield United I agree they have done well this season, but with Leeds Bamford is not a premier league forward, so they would need to strengthen there.
Sheffield United fans were expecting a fight against relegation, they have been able to continue to play now they did in the Championship with little presure, Leeds fans believe their own hype that they are top ten club at least. To much pressure on Leeds to perform week in week out.

One of them said that they'll be able to buy him as PSG owners are investing. Interestingly this has been rumbling on forever and they are looking at others as well. I said any investment would be in the future not now if at all. All the talks were before Covid lock down so who knows. Funnily enough he didn't like that.

the future is tomorrow. while i have issues with qsi it is very real.

In 24 hours, the arrogance of the Leeds fans has been a stark illustration of why it’s been so good not to have them in the Premier League for 16 years.

One very good reason not to sell White to Leeds (apart from the fact he’s probably now ready for the Albion). It weakens them immensely from the off. Why would we let one of the potential relegation contenders keep their best player?

If a huge bid comes in from an established top 6 side, fair enough. But Leeds, nope.

I don't doubt it but nothing much has happened since the covid crisis, same as Newcastle. All the time nothing is set in concrete there's no investment. If and when it does come that only means all your targets are suddenly more expensive.

It is the way the things appear to be going with oil rich slave owning Arabs having these clubs as play things. Too many of them I'll stop watching it. Horrible way to go. You can see one team losing to another owned by different countries leading to war they already only have contempt for each other

Honestly they’re already up there with Palace for me... certainly current fan base. They’ve been slating our club all season pretty much..

It’s going to feel like a derby when we play them. Oh man we have to get some good Ben White chants going.

Unlikely as even if we're allowed in the stadium, away fans?

Aye, i've my own reservations. the two qsi brothers are in leeds now, my dabbling in football club investment is over and i will never do so again, radrizanni is a good guy after years of terrible owners and decision making, but getting into bed with this lot just doesn't sit right with me for a lot of reasons. it is real though, i am led to believe that an investment (radrizanni will not sell up but will take on people/money alongside him) was agreed in late 2019 to happen upon our promotion to premier league. we'll see.

Good luck trying that against Liverpool's press rather than Barnsley's.

exactly. this kid has done ok for us, but the chanpionship is full of poor (and this year was a poor year even by the usual low standards) front lines. the top tier of the premier league will run rings around him. Maldini he isn't,.

More Ben White stuff in the Leeds Evening Post.....one direct quote from their Chief Executive made me shake my head...

"I know supporters will wonder why there wasn't an option to buy him but Brighton weren't prepared to do that.

It was either take the player without an option or don't take him at all. We clearly made the right decision and we have some conversations to have with Brighton as to where they see his future. They rate him very highly and other clubs rate him very highly.

Where Kinnear believes Leeds might just be ahead of some of their Premier League rivals, or even Brighton themselves if they do try to keep White, is that he has made Elland Road his home over the past year. His friendship with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, his importance to Bielsa's plan and the freedom Bielsaball gives him to showcase his diverse skills may play in the Whites' favour. But Kinnear is still realistic. Signing a player who made Championship football look all so easy is going to be incredibly difficult.

"We have an advantage in that Ben loves the club and he has loved playing for the club," said Kinnear.

"He loves his teammates and knows he will get game time under Marcelo, so we have a small advantage. Ultimately, we are going to be fighting with some big names for his signature."

The club see his future with us, hence the loan-only deal to Leeds last year. Be interesting to see what happens though if Ben White expresses a real desire to stay with Leeds (yes I know someone will trot out the Stephens, Dunk situation, but will we let him just play reserve football because they don't want to sell him to Leeds?)

Of course, Potter has said he joins our group and will be competing for a place.

If he sulks he won't be getting picked and he'll be watching his stock fall quite quickly. It'd be an unlikely agent who advises that.

We know that Tony won't be bullied into selling - as you say, see Dunk and Stephens.

Every player has a price, of course. We believe in this case it's 35-40 million. Leeds are free to meet it.
