If Bielsa was that greats manager, Dirty Leeds would have to up last season, and not choked (again)
You have a weird hatred of a club hours from Brighton. Have a word with yourself.
Perhaps - my thinking was on the lines of White's rapid development with us so far and the fact that he's pretty happy here. Can understand why he'd go back to Brighton but it wouldn't make much sense if he wasn't going to start.
I'm sure he is happy at Leeds, winning and gaining plaudits. But he has been developed by Brighton - yes, part of that development plan included him being loaned to other clubs, to get first team football. Brighton have paid for that development, in expertise and of course wages. Ben might want to stay at Leeds, or perhaps he'd rather play for Brighton. Maybe he would prefer Liverpool, if that is a possibility. I don't think he has specified what his preference is, so we may as well not bother speculating any further.
But for me, the key factor is that he is contracted to Brighton, who have spent a not-inconsiderable amount of effort in helping Ben get to his current stage (including by paying him very well). At the moment, if he desperately wants to play for someone else - including Leeds - then that club has to meet Brighton's valuation, or he won't go anywhere. Player power is always the reason used by Twitter heroes, and perhaps when you are Pogba or Ronaldo that might be relevant. But if you are fresh off the back of your first season in the second-tier, it would be foolhardy in the extreme to assume you can snub your parent club - not to mention morally questionable, after all the money they have spent on development. Someone that arrogant may find themselves playing for the u23's for the next two years, and stalling their career a fair bit. Not to mention gaining a bit of a reputation for being difficult. Of course, nothing that Ben himself is saying suggests he is doing any of this, he's clearly just getting on with his football and being bloody good at it!
Best of luck for the rest of the season, I'd like to see Leeds in the PL. Although I'll have to employ someone full time to block your fans from appearing on any of my social media feeds.

Not by top Championship standards. According to Naylor he is on less than 10k a week (I know...)
His new contract is the main concern of Albion. He's going to be a rich boy.
My daughters boyfriend is a Luton fan, he has watched their game against the dirties tonight, and text me , what a player Ben White is, he’s so cool on the ball, he makes so much time, makes the game look easy.

They're not exactly making it easy for themselves this year either. Failed to beat bottom of table Luton tonight.
It looks difficult, but it would be GLORIOUS if they threw it away from here.
Leeds have a pretty nice looking run in, including home matches to Stoke, Charlton and Barnsley. I guess they are fighting for survival, but still! Brentford's run in also looks quite forgiving though, so maybe they can pile the pressure on.
Jesus, Derby have five games left against the top 6.

Those are the exact teams you do NOT want to play at the end of the season, championship relegation teams are always the form side in last 6-7 games.
If they had lost to Fulham they would have definitely bottled it. However they have enough and probably only need 7 points.

Yeah they are up this time.
Not even Leeds can bottle it from here.
The pessimism of fans is interesting, isn't it? Leeds and Brighton have both played 3 and gained 4 points since the resumption, which leaves Leeds 6 points clear of the 3rd place team (with an inferior GD), and Brighton 6 clear of 18th (with a superior GD). We're all convinced Leeds can't be overtaken by the team in 3rd who have won 3 out of 3, yet we're still rediculously nervous that 3 out of 4 teams that haven't been able to buy a win so far will be able to catch us!
I agree, it’s all about perspective but there is a reason our odds have lengthened so much over the last couple of weeks.
However, it is much easier to make up points at the bottom of the table than at the top, for the simple reason that the top teams win more.
Surely that works the other though? At the bottom of the table, if we lose, then there's a very good chance that the teams below us will also have lost. If Leeds drop points however, then it's more than likely that at least one of the 2 teams still in the hunt for 2nd place will have won, particularly Brentford at the moment.
Yeah they are up this time.

Pablo is our number 1 game changing asset and you ain't having him. you can have white back though! One loss for Leeds and it’s squeaky bum time, 6 point gap but essentially 5 points because Brentford have a much superior GD.
You’d love to see it, but even if not we have the second prize of being able to take their biggest playing asset
