Blackburn have got a friendly tonight, it'll be interesting to see if Marshall plays or not. That will tell us how close we are to buying him

Is there even the remotest whisper from anyone in the know that we are interested in Marshall, or the Iranian, or Zamora?

I believe we had the 8th biggest wage budget in 2012/13 and the 10th in 2013/14. Although ours apparently increased last season, there were a lot of teams that spent big, which is again happening this season, so I would estimate our budget for 2014/15 and 2015/16 would be in the bottom half of the division.

Footballers do get pay rises , they don't sign a 4 year deal and stay on the same money plus I doubt they are restricted to 1%

There was a guy who played County League football who only had one arm, about 20 years ago if memory serveds. Pretty good he was too, great balnce suprisingly although you could see opposing players were a bit concerned about tackling him.

I remember him, He played in goal and he worked at army and navy.

Not that I've seen, the Iranian looks to be staying at NEC, nothing on Zamora and as for Marshall apart from the DM articles there's no other whispers at all.

The only thing for me with Marshall is that the approach is very similar to Bladdock, we kept going back in, why? Cos we had the impression he wanted to come here and so it transpired.

We "appear" to be going back in again for Marshall, again the question is why.

Out of those 3, I think this is the only one that has legs (although one of them does cost £1.5m!)

We can merely speculate on how much a player earns , even the media guess and this is made worse by clubs and players who neither confirm or deny.

Seriously? I assumed that that was the idea behind a contract, and that pay rises came when they either moved clubs, were promoted to the senior squad or re-negotiated their contracts.

Who spectacularly more than doubled his wages.

While lying on the physios table, he somehow manged to summon up the strength in order to point to the clause in his contract stating he will always be the highest paid player at Spurs.
The arrival of Big Les netted DA tens of thousands of pounds.

Sadly for Spurs while pointing Anderton broke 3 ribs and tore his ligaments, causing him to miss the following season...

This analysis puts our wages in 2013/14 as again, like 12/13 as 8th biggest in the division.
