How on earth can Brawn and Red Bull be classed as joke teams, when they have people like Ross Brawn and Adrian Newey involved, two of the most influential people in the sport since the early 1990's. Sounds to me like TCB wants to see Mclaren or ferrari win everything. What has made this year great is the way the grid has been turned on its head due to the new rules, some teams got it bang on (e.g. Brawn), others weren't far away and caught up pretty quick (e.g. Red Bull) and some where way off, but are now back up there more or less (e.g. Mclaren and Ferrari). Even the perennial joke team Force India have managed to drop it on pole. I think its been a great season so far, and it isn't over yet for a long way.

And if the championship was based on the wins/medal system Ecclestone wanted, Button would probably win that as well, based on the 6 he already has. As the maximum anyone else can get now is 8 and they all seem to be taking wins off each other, beating that is unlikely.

I'm a McLaren fan, so the comment that I may want Ferrari winning everything is extremely inaccurate!

I think the phrase that describes this season for me is 'novelty value.' Ok, we've all had a good look at mediocrity like Button having their moment in the spotlight, and it was nice while it lasted, but enough is enough. There is a small group of champions in F1 - genuinely world-class breathtaking drivers who you'd pay good money to watch. What irritates me is that NONE of the championship competitors are in that group. I think such a massive overhaul of the regulations made it an unfair playing field, allowing minor teams like Brawn a whole year to develop a car when McLaren and Ferrari had about four months. Because of this we will have, for the first time, a totally undeserving world champion - whoever it may be. It's like telling every Premier League club to sell every player they have and start from scratch, but giving Hull and Wigan three months to rebuild and Man United one week. Unfair, and the end result is that the best man isn't the winner - which is surely the point of any sport.

You don't have to love or hate teams and people, there can be a middle ground and if you can't see that this has been an interesting and novel season for all the right reasons that's your loss. It seems you have to take a side, put he/they on a plinth and proceed to slag off everybody else. Why, what's the point? So far this season you've slagged off Button, Alonso, and Barrichelo all drivers who make the sport interesting and all quality drivers. Just relax and enjoy the sport, enjoy Hamilton doing well but he's not a God and he's not perfect so don't lose it and abuse others when he doesn't win eh?

Oh well that's the Brits out. Might as well switch off now.
