to be followed some months later by folk complaining about the hike in their house insurance premiums.
We've been here before, me finks ......
Not surprised to see the beach huts taking a bashing but I can see it's taken down the wall as well.
To be fair those beach huts have taken quite a belting. US, come back, I concede.
at least there has not been major loss of life .....i have friends down devon /cornwall way and it , apparently is ferking WILD down there......looks like the government are going to have to have a major re-think on how they prioritise the budget over the coming years.
5 or so Beach Hut's taken off the promenade and dumped on the pitch and put course near Hove Lagoon. Total carnage. Also a set of Traffic Lights blown over in Marine Parade, top road. Anymore tale's of carnage ?

I was woken at 5:54 by a horrible ripping noise and a loud crash. It was a rather ugly Leylandii tree about 30 feet high whacking into our house, bringing down some guttering but nothing worse, thank goodness - lucky they're quite flimsy. Can you get these things taken away by the council or environment agency, or do I need to pay somebody £200 to do it? I'll ring the council...
