Has it? I really don’t know but I usually find him wooden and unable to deliver a line with any gravitas. Except for this, Children Of Men and that film from the early 90’s where he’s shagging his sister played the lovely Saskia Reeves.

As with football matters, all about opinions :)

Mike Bubbins sitcom pilot Mammoth is on BBC Wales tonight at 21:30 then IPlayer as a whole soon after.

Should be fun without being too taxing.

'Universe' is very watchable. Coxy at his most mystic, juxtaposed with a galaxy of down-to-earth rocket scientists. Maybe best watched late at night with a big bag of crisps :smokin:

Just watched the final episode. Thought it was very good overall. Some fine acting, particularly the CPS guy and Talitha. Interesting ending.....

Last scene was in my office.. not looking so nice now.

Probably already been said but Fever Pitch: The Rise of the Premier League was brilliant. Interviews with some Premier League legends.

Available in iplayer now, well worth a gander.

The Outlaws.

Stephen Merchant's comedy drama with Christopher Walken.

All rather enjoyable.
These two are absolutely outstanding - thoroughly recommended.

I have Disney+, Prime, Netflix and a few premium channels (including BT Sport) on Virgin, which must total £100 a month, yet I don't have time to watch enough iPlayer/ITV hub and TIVO recorded stuff on Virgin. I really am going to consider binning off some of these streaming services - I'd get rid of Netflix already if it wasn't for the fact I know my two university student kids use them.

For those poor souls not having seen these classic works, here's your chance albeit the shortened versions. If you can source the original, longer progs then I'd advise it.

Unexpectedly enjoying the new Dr Who series.
Me too, apart from watching John Bishop infiltrate the secure base of tyrannical galactic warriors armed with a Wok.

The Danish series, Blinded:Those who kill, and Darkness: Those who kill are excellent series. A couple if years old now but I have only just discovered them.

Recently bought the extended 3 DVD set on ebay for £3. Plenty of them available for under £5.

The extended version is the original version shown on Swedish TV as a series covering all three books/films. They include a total of 2 hours of extra footage over the three films which were not included in the theatrical releases.

I only started watching it last night.

Snowfall.

The crack epidemic in America, with nods to the Contra scandal. I’m nowhere near finished, so I don’t really know if it stays as good as it has started. Into 4 seasons now,I’m surprised no one has mentioned it on this thread,

What a bargain!

For me right up there with masterpieces such as The Bridge and The Killing. The only negatives being the premature death of Michael Nyqvist, the abomination version by Craig and Co, and the attempted 4th edition.

I quite enjoyed the remake but the original trilogy, brilliant.
