It really is quite something with everything you want from a 'fly on the wall' documentary.
I'm going to be thinking about it for quite a while.


I do hope someone gives it a chance and goes with it.

If it's not for you, that's cool, just don't bother telling me it's shite.

Watching Fever Pitch - The Rise of the Premier League.

I'd forgotten about the palace scrote losing his shite at the end of his court appearance.


Oh it was lovely to relive that as if it were new.

As said if a good film has made its way onto IPlayer you really should have watched it by now.

Failing my own metric I give you:-

Whiplash.


I knew it was acclaimed, I have no idea why I avoided it, but I finally ticked it off at the weekend, and glad I did

I'm amazed I'm going with it, but not as amazed as I would be if anyone else does.


In 'documentaries' check out:

Garage People.

What Russian's, predominantly men, do in their garages.

I'm absolutely mesmerized by it.
Would love to discuss it with someone, but don't want to say anything now that would spoil it.




DO NOT WATCH IF YOU WORK FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE.

So I'm just gonna have to resign myself to being the only person to watch this.

3 weeks later and I'm bending a mates ear about it, safe in the knowledge he'll never watch it either.

I was completely blindsided by it.

I didn't want to give it the big'un for fear of overselling it.
Seemingly instead I might just have put people off.

I have no idea why I watched it, but am so pleased I did.
For me it was a proper rollercoaster of emotions, I laughed, I cried, I was stunned, bewildered and all points in-between.


The fact that the man building the grey machine didn't get a look in despite the 1001 questions (staring and finishing with 'well how are you going to get it out?' ) shows just how much content they had.

Shame about the punk band!

Does a certain poster who may or may not have you on ignore know about the Death Metal band? If not, you've missed some low hanging fruit there.

Anyway, that's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I'm all for bleak, gritty, social realism, and not afraid of niche, but it just didn't float my boat I'm afraid.

The gaiter scene was well done though. The moment the second bloke stepped out I did have a little chuckle. And the follow up on them two backed it up a treat.

Series 1 of Guilt was pretty good, dark humour and well paced.

Series 2 however, was very messy and uneven. Not having Ally Fraser cast once more as the bad guy was a mistake.

Should have binned it after S1, imho of course.
