What game were you watching?
Touch: average
Aerial power: average
Holding up play: good
Goalscoring insticts: how many chances did he actually get?

ok, i'll give you my evaluation of him in a couple of games

it'll still be the same

i've already said that he didn't do that badly, so don't get all high and mighty on me

there's a reason why he's only scored TWO goals in his career(thats less than joe gatting AND chris mcphee) and thats because he has absolutely NO goalscoring instinct.

he does a job because he is big and pretty quick. he unnerves defenders, but generally he has NO football talent

considering we are DESPERATE for goals, i'm not sure he's the answer. he would be the answer if we had someone else in the squad who COULD score goals for fun

was pretty shit really , sure it looked from D block like he was in on keeper but turned the other way ,

Might be ok , but think his goalscoring record sums it up really

Reckon you could play a women up front and they would surely score more than 2 in 60 odd

Just calling it as I see it I'm afraid.
Yes it was his first game. Yes it might take time for him to settle. But in terms of his performance over the 90 yesterday, I'm sorry to say that he was absolute toilet. He made one decent run in the first half where he surged down the left past a couple of Rovrum players, but other than that slightly promising moment, he contributed zilch.

I hope he turns out to be a decent signing, I really do. Perhaps yesterday he just had an "off" day ? But I'm not going to try and talk up what I saw yesterday, or try to convince myself that what I saw was in any way "promising" - cos it wasn't. He was crap. He looked exactly what he is - an absolute last resort journeyman freebee after all the other deals had fallen through. Thats generally the calibre of player we have to make do with nowadays, but please don't try to tell me he's any good, cos I was there. And he wasn't.

He looks the type of player who Bowdich could feed off and we're supposed to be signing him soon are'nt we?
