Savage was far better than Iwelumo and miles better than McCammon.

His performance would have looked even better if Jake Robinson had bothered his arse to try and link up with him.

Doesn't help when Robinson was clearly told to play 50 yards apart from him in the second half.

It was clear that Ward wanted to play more central so he wenr in there and Jake was pushed wide.

For what it's worth I'd have had Elder on the bench and bunged him with half an hour to go.

To be fair Bertin didn't have a lot of time to show what he can do and hopefully it may all get better when they have played together for a few days. Guess I'm just disappointed at having watched a 0-0 draw with a team that's in a relegation position. But I still don't think any of the new boys set the world alight. I would have loved Bas to have scored the winner on his debut but I don't think we are going to be seeing him moonwalk very often.
