Right, I have about as much actual knowledge as [MENTION=21064]easy[/MENTION]10 but i'm ruddy keen and stupid so seems perfect for me.

My baseball watching pedigree is a couple of games @ the Skydome, one in Hiroshima and another in Tampa so on a percentage basis I would have to say im a Blue Jays fan.

I agree that Darvish will be a monster for the Rangers this year, could lead the AL in Ks, but losing Hamilton will hurt them. The Yankees are too old - Jeter and A-Fraud are already creaking. Jays or Angels for me to win the AL this year, Dodgers, Braves or nats for the NL.

Fair shout but the Tigers will be there or thereabouts too - unbeievable top half of the line up... Cabrera, Fielder and now Martinez is back too so there's another 100 RBIs...

I have just rented the first dvd of this box set from LoveFilm and i have got to tell you it was absolutely brilliant. It runs for four hours and tells the story of baseball from 1845 to 1920

Ive got to to the end of the 1930s and it really is excellent...except for the hyberbole used to describe the sport.... jeez!

I am going to follow the Atlanta Braves this season, pretty sure I remember watching them last year and there fans started doing a crazy chopping action! thats the kind of mass participation I like.

will be heading to NY in May, hopefully will get to attend my first game when out there.

Another Red Sox fan here – my second team after the Mets. Meeting friends from the UK in Boston this July and we are going to the Mariners game on July 30. First time at Fenway Park so looking forward to it
