I'm a big fan of basketball, ice hockey and baseball.Will watch American football if its on but wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.
I only just recently started watching baseball as a girlfriend in the states took me to watch the San Francisco Giants play. She tought me all the rules etc and have been following it almost every night since on SKY TV. I would suggest anyone who said it was a crap sport tried to watch it but was baffled by the rules and terminolgy. If someone had explained it all to you i'm sure after a better understanding of the game you would really enjoy it.
But NHL will always be the better sport
