For those of you that think she sold her soul to the devil just remember she wouldn't have sold her country to anyone, not the Russians, not the other Europeans and never the Corporate Commies in the Unions.
To those of you that say she was unpopular remember she wasn't supposed to be, she had a job to do.Leave the popularity/publicity whoring to the Smug Tw*t(TB) that thought he was her equal and got us into the current mess.

RIP
and watch out on ther other side here comes one tough cookie!

The best news for a Monday or a life. Tyrant of a women who destroyed lives. Lets all have a party

And the F***ing muppets that have been in power since - please explain what they have done?. Oh and don't forget Afghan, Bosnia, thousands upon thousands of illegals, bowing to the EU over human rights. Thatcher would never have allowed this to happen.

Napper - post not aimed at you but as a general discussion topic regarding some of the comments made - when a son and daughter and grandchildren have lost their mother/grandmother a lot of these comments are OTT. :drama:

She refused to sell us to Europe, so sold us to the US instead. Ronald and Maggie, what an odd couple to be lording over the west.

The Ashley Barnes of politics.

Cold, callous, calculating, her policies divided this country like none before or after, and the dividends are still being paid today in many parts of the country.

However, there is no joy in the death of anyone IMO.

So are you going ban the disrespectful idiots on this thread?

The problem with today is lack of respect whether it be for human life or peoples property, this thread is suppose to be the standard RIP thread and idiots are dancing on her grave and she not even buried yet..............it disgusts me.

Woah there.

Are you talking about the fit dark haired one that stood for East Worthing and Shoreham?

Isn't that Emily Benn. Tony Benns granddaughter. Is she also Michael Foots step grand daughter? But more to the point, when did Bushy shag her? she's only just in her 20's I believe?

Some good polices

Some awful policies

Certainly changed our Country, for better or worse that's certainly a matter of opinion.

However, people on here coming out with comments such as 'good riddance' need to have a look at themselves.

Oh and don't forget Afghan, Bosnia:

No you're right, the Tories always hated a US led war about oil didn't they. Her elected government took us into Iraq mark 1, they would have waded right into Iraq mark 2 (which they publicly supported), Afghanistan and anywhere else the US wanted us to go if lucrative arms contracts were there to line their own filthy pockets.

Margaret Thatcher was a divisive woman and did a lot of good for this country and a lot of bad. Had she not been in power in 1982 then the alternative would have been Michael Foot's extreme left pro CND Labour Party at the time and the Falklands would have been evacuated and would have been surrendered to Argentina. Also remember that Thatcher fought the EU and a superstate and future monetary union-the Euro-at every turn. Immigration under Thatcher was small and at least manageable and Islam was barely an issue.Britain would be a worse place now had Labour gained power in the 80s and the Marxists of Derek Hatton and Arthur Scargill been allowed to run riot. Thatcher also presided over the original " Dragons Den" as her government invested in small business start ups and gave people an opportunity to work for themselves as well as buy their own council homes. On the downside she let our mining industry disappear which should never have happened although Scargill was equally to blame for not holding a strike ballot. Those pits were making a loss but even so should have been given more time to become profitable.Unemployment was very high too under Thatcher and that cannot be ignored. As a leader however she was respected around the world and her enemies were our enemies namely socialism, the EU and Islam and leaders since such as Blair and Cameron were not fit the lace the Iron Lady's boots. She was both brilliant and terrible as a leader but as humans nobody is perfect.

The things that will stick in my mind, apart from all the damage she inflicted, are her patronising, affected speech, and her ridiculous hamming it up at Reagan's funeral. Oh, and also her support for the murderous dictator Pinochet, which I took as final proof that she had a screw loose.

It's been a fantastic day on the news and even better on here. It's great seeing all the old Tories rolled out to eulogise the leader even they couldn't cope with any more so they had to dump her. Lots of praise and every other sentence that lovely little "Obviously/Strangely/ Interestingly she was a divisive figure....." but, without having the balls to actually state her downside.

Lovely to see the polemics on here, all the sudden gushing of how we need a leader like her now, why ? She would have no policy to cope with the current situation as she had already sold everything we owned for tax cuts.

All our current difficulties can be traced back to her policies, another Thatcher is the last thing we need.

Apparently the parties have already started in Glasgow.

Glasgow City Council has urged people to stay away from the city's George Square after hundreds gathered to mark the death of Baroness Thatcher. The council said it was concerned the gathering - organised via social media - was intended to be a "party".

Won't it be a shame when our lovely Celtic brethren get independence and have to make their own way in the world without us awful English? :tosser:

Some of the comments on here are a disgrace. They are probably made by the sensitive petals who get upset with a few songs sung on the terraces. God Bless Baroness Thatcher the GREATEST ever prime minister.

Me too! I'm embarrassed that some of the morons on here support the same team as me. God help us all.

I really enjoy NSC but tonight I am closing to finishing with it.

I never thought I'd use the 'ignore button', but I have........
