Stereophonics (then called the Tragic Love Company) in Aberdare
Spice Girls at the Big Weekend, a free festival in Cardiff, just before their first single came out. Didn't hear a whole track, decided they were crap (and probably miming) so adjourned to pub.

Yes it was Brighton art college. Do I know you Dandyman ?
I suspect we were in some of the same places in the late 70's.
One of the things I remember from that gig was one of the Madness Skin contingent asking me and a mate where we were from. When we told him Lewes, he said he'd been sentenced there.
