Blind Melon or Primus.

When I saw Guns 'n' Roses at Milton Keynes the line up was Blind Melon (who I thought were awful, imo), Soul Asylum fantastic, The Cult who were very poor and GNR who were great. Don't know why just didn't take to Blind Melon (was Axl Roses, brothers group)

Thought Blind Melon were a great band and Soup still gets a regular play. Saw GNR at Wembley with Nine Inch Nails and Skid Row. In a bizarre twist of fate NIN were crap and went down like a lead balloon and Skid Row stole the show.

Ironic how NIN and GNR ended up. Velvet Revolver were really good at Live 8 my only critisism was that the front man (can't remember his name) didn't seem to have any stage presence, if that makes sense, whilst Slash was soloing the crowd were mesmerised though

The Longpigs.

Nooooooooooo! They were f***ing awful. I absolutely hated them and when I found out that the lead singer had shagged my ex-girlfriend I fermented that hatred into the kind of loathing I normally reserve for genocidal dictators.

Seriously though, they were shite. Chris Evans liked them too.

The Longpigs were class and I would agree with Latin Quarter. However, the best band ever ever ever were/are the:

House of Love.

House of Love rumoured to be getting back together.

Beatles and The Stones, House of Love, Christine were classics, but sadly the boy Chadwick let the praise go straight up his nostrils.
