The tall Hobbit looking good on MOTD2. How much do you think he's worth and where do you think he might move on to?

When you say 'bigger' who do you mean? Only bigger team I can see him going to is maybe United or Barcelona.

Man Utd, man city, Chelsea. Or maybe the 2 Spanish giants. Think he'd suit real more than Barca.

Yes, those or maybe a top Italian or German club. Sometimes he seems unplayable. Odd looker though!

Losing Bale would quickly see us turn into a mid-table team. As long as AVB gets time I'll be more than happy.

I don't get to watch Spurs often but have read Bale is very highly rated, with potential to be near Ronaldo or Messi in terms of effectiveness when he's a little older. Do you agree and is he as good as people say he is?

I hope he goes to a league which doesn't have regular UK TV coverage, so we don't have to see that incredibly irritating 'heart' goal celebration ever again.

Bale went off the mark a bit towards the end of last season and i don't think he has played to the potential he can do so far this term. Most definitely has the potential to be a world class player though. I think he would do well at United with the likes of RVP, Rooney and Hernandez.

I'm Welsh and I rate Bale highly but he wont be as good as those two ever, especially Messi.

He's in the bracket behind them though alongside the likes of Robben when he reaches his prime.

Bale is an excellent player and unbelievable athlete but he's nowhere near Messi or Ronaldo yet, they are really special. He's not consistent enough yet to be classed in that company.

In fact, I would say that Cazorla, Mata, Silva, Van Persie and Suarez are all better players currently.

Bale is another example of Harry Redknapp's luck in football though. He was all set to release Bale either on loan or sell him when he was struggling at Spurs and then circumstance meant he had to play him and Bale started doing really well and Redknapp took the credit.

Shop window time for him - watch his performances from now to the transfer window - will be chasing everything !

He wants Champs,2nd,3rd,4th League action so it would be MU, MC, Ars or Chelsea for him in Jan

doubt if he has the drive to go abroad, but PSG would be close-enough for him to commute from Surrey

the only clubs that can afford him are united, city, real and barca...possibly chelsea but can't see that one happening, as well as PSG and teams from shit leagues like Russia and China...can't see that happening either.

he's still only 23 so has many, many years ahead of him, can see him becoming a top, top player (not quite in the messi/ronaldo bracket, but a top player none the less) if he makes the right decisions. I've always been in the mindset that players should play abroad if the opportunity comes up as I feel it really develops you as a player, even if it's for a short while. Would love to see a top British player at Barca or Real again...personally I see him more as a Real player.

it's a shame that, like Giggs, Weah, Best etc. he probably won't ever really get the chance to shine at international level...even if Wales do make it to a tournament before he's past his best (they could qualify for a Euro's when it goes to 24 teams) they'll most likely be cannon fodder.

Was going to sell him to Ajax and Jol for a few million.

Benny went off to the African Cup of nations so had to keep him, in Harry's mind he made him
