I find that unless you spend quite a bit more, back bacon has a lot of water in it.

smoked back bacn. streaky is good for sandwiches or pigs in blankets.

Always dry cured. If it’s for a Sarnie, then smoked streaky so it goes slightly crispy, back bacon to go with eggs. My favourite used to be collar but I never see it now.
