I was going to post something similar. To my eyes, Mitoma's game is not all that similar to Son's. Son is far more an attacking midfielder than a winger. You'd think that people like Grealish or Saka would be better comparators with the type of player that Mitoma is. Considering Crooks' long history of working with Kick It Out and preceding campaigns, you would have expected him to have the awareness to steer well clear of anything that could be seen as unconscious bias.

I'm sure this is a coincidence and I know some of you will think I am quite sad, but I was so incensed by last week's TOTW that I complained to the BBC. I was pissed off by his normal "Trossard is really good, so he'll be off to a BIG club soon, and the nonsense about Potter not having to apologise for anything, I made the point that he was the only person to mention apologising! What got to me the most was the fact that 2 City players made the cut following their drab 1-0 against Leicester, one of them at left back I think. We absolutely annihilated Chelsea and only Trossard makes it. Estupinan should have been there. Anyway probably a bit embarrassing, and i shouldn't have let it get to me after one of the greatest weekends in over 50 years supporting the Albion, but it was good therapy.

Is this the world cup squad? Trossard isn't in our world cup squad, is he?

And then all he did was talk about Everton.

And he just looked at the goals? That's pretty much what he said.

Gross's goal? Probably my least favorite as it came from a bad mistake from them.

How about Caicedos millimeter perfect pass to Mitoma and his speed and quick feet and rifled shot?

Or Caicedo/ Mitoma/ Estupinan move onto Sarmiento, on his very first PL start, dinking into the box talking out 2 experienced defenders and laying on a plate for 18 yo Ferguson for a goal on his very first PL start.

Then not to look at the lovely footwork by Solly leaving jug ears on the deck, scoring past 5 defenders and the England goalkeeper between him and the goal.

Yes Gross deserves to be in that team, along with a couple of others imo. But just for the goal?

I barley take notice of his or Shearers teams of the week as they are top 6 centric or in Shearers case must include 2 NUFC players, and only from winning teams. Do they watch the games well no they base their expert opinion on a few brief highlights so don't watch the overall performance, a player can have a blinding game ( not just our players but any teams) but be on the loosing side but very rarely do we see these performances acknowledged or even mentioned even if it's a so and so had a great game, scored a screamer, commanded the midfield etc but didn't quite make team of the week
