I'm not claiming they did murder us, am I? Personally, I thought Orient were very poor. They're certainly not a team that should be anywhere near 3rd in the table. But, we were shit for an hour, and they were the better of two poor sides. Hey, I'm not trying to claim they deserved to win! I'm just saying it was not a "great performance," or whatever else anyone was claiming.

To be fair with the badger, i've just watched the game back on SKY +, and I've got to say it's sooo different from having been there.

I thought we absolutely murdered them at the game, but watching it back on the telly, Oriscum DID have a good four or five chances to put the game out of our reach, and it's down to good fortune and their sloppy finishing that kept us in with a shout. Adam El-abd was at fault for their second and the last-minute 'goal' that Kuipers so miraculously saved - quite how he left their second goalscorer and then Gray unmarked on the far side is unbelievable.

Conversely, I thought Coxy made far too many predictable cut-inside-and-crosses when I was at the game, but watching it back on the telly, ~I thought he looked much better, setting up Hammond's disallowed goal and causing havoc for our second equaliser.

OVERALL, it was a f***ing fantastic second half, full of battle, determination, decent passing and movement, and goals. Jake was excellent, Forster superb and Hammond brilliant getting forward with his head. Just a shame about El-Abd's sloppiness.

The support was excellent again, today, full marks to us, other than the mince-pie thrower.

Proud to be an Albion fan :albion2:

Great day out! My first away game.
First 30 minutes they were on top but towards the end of the first half we really came back into it so i'm not sure why your saying we were shit for an hour.
In the end we were unlucky not to win it, strikes from jakey and nicky were so close.

Also FFA what ruined the day for you?

Great first away game, keep it up!

poor first half display - tended to hoof it too much( Baz is not a ball winning centre forward!!!) Second half more of the same...on came Jakey...different game.

Great day out with excellent company

Brilliant day out. I think we just edged it overall and if anyone deserved to win it was us.
Think the game might have been a bit differnt if Thornton didn't have to come of for them, his creativity can turn a game.
Robinson superb, he did turn the game.
My first away game for a while, will definitely being going to more again now.

Totally, completely true! We should have seen them off over and over. I wandered down to the Burger bar with two minutes to go in the first half..heard the cheers and then the jeers as Hammonad was denied (with the benifit of Sky+) a perfectly good goal.Jake was superb, Coxy was sublime and we got a fat bald stripper!

Have to say this, I drove there today, got parked about 2 minutes from the ground, for FREE on street, went to some pub called the Crown and Anchor, rammed with Albion all singing..pulled the barmaid and then saw our support shame the O's.

I Love Brighton and Hove Albion

You absolute stud muffin. Get in there. Surprised no-ones mentioned Coxy's goal celebration by the way. So which chat up line did you use on the barmaid?

My personal favourites are : I come from a nation of warriors but I'm a lover not a fighter

or....a play on the old "here's 20p - call your parents. You're pulled"

"Here's 20p. Call the police. You're scared"

"Here's 20p. Call the police. You're scared"

Isnt it free to call the Police?

Anyway, yesterday was what away days are all about, 90 minutes of constant singing, a packed away end, a scinitilating second half, a few beers afterwards. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Roll on Doncaster. (or Torquay if we win Tuesday)
