50/50 possession apparently.

Well I'm amazed. If they had as much of the ball as we did, I must have missed it.

Still had a good day out though, and the O's in the pub after were relieved with one point

Great day out! My first away game.
First 30 minutes they were on top but towards the end of the first half we really came back into it so i'm not sure why your saying we were shit for an hour.
In the end we were unlucky not to win it, strikes from jakey and nicky were so close.

Also FFA what ruined the day for you?

Well if you had streaked you would have never seen your willy.

Disagree with the badger. Bar the goals and the save in the 93rd minute, orient created nothing, the wole game. In contrast we scored two, hit the bar twice through George and jake, had a perfectly good goal chalked off, and Hammond was desperately unlucky at the end.

They deserved nothing.

Totally, completely true! We should have seen them off over and over. I wandered down to the Burger bar with two minutes to go in the first half..heard the cheers and then the jeers as Hammonad was denied (with the benifit of Sky+) a perfectly good goal.Jake was superb, Coxy was sublime and we got a fat bald stripper!

Have to say this, I drove there today, got parked about 2 minutes from the ground, for FREE on street, went to some pub called the Crown and Anchor, rammed with Albion all singing..pulled the barmaid and then saw our support shame the O's.

I Love Brighton and Hove Albion

That was amazing! Could not have chosen a better first away game this season. Good game of football, fantastic atmosphere. I've never felt so much passion when we score a goal.

Front row seats as well :)

I thought we were really really poor to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, it was a great day out, great atmosphere and an exciting game. Loads of chances and so on.

But the quality of our football was poor. Our passing was poor, the only ideas we ever had were to put long balls in behind the full backs for Savage and Forster to chase. Failing that, give it to Cox and lob it towards the back post.

Cox's passing was way off today - okay he put in a few good balls (the left footed cross was excellent) - but most of his passing was way off target. El-Abd's good at defending, but as he didn't have to do a huge amount of it today, his offensive play was awful. Our attacking play down the right was non-existant until the introduction of Robinson.

We had two? free kicks in great positions. Why cant we just shoot? They were in tthe perfect position. I can understand looking for Bas if the free kicks not in a decent shooting position but we completly wasted our first one. The second from Hammond was a shot and won a corner to be fair but I'd like too see them put it over the wall and test the keeper. O'Callaghan can take excellent free kicks!

The last 20 minutes were better - but we've played a lot better than this. Well battled though and another game without defeat. :)

Good summing up Turkey. The first half we were abysmal although, I did think Hammond's disallowed goal was ok. The whole game plan seemed to be hoof it up the front two. Orient knew how to nullify that and we hadn't got any creativity.
When we eventually got it on the ground, we started playing but there were three factors which earned us a point yesterday.
1. the blond guy who was marking Coxy got injured and his replacement couldn't do such a good job on him
2. Jake came on and gave Orient a load of problems by skinning players
3. FDM's save at the end.

Couldn't have put it better. We were poor in the first half, but so were they. We should have got three points but for the disallowed goal.

First half was shithouse (watching in the Cricks), just punted it up field way too much to Bas "Im bloody useless" Savage. Cant say they deserved the lead as they were shit too. 2nd half we played much better, decent passing although still making too many errors, unlike Orient who kept giving the ball away for the entire 90mins. Forster did a good job and Robinson when he came on, sorry but Savage is'nt the god some people make him out to be, the tactic with him seems to be -Punt to Bas, hope for flick on & score - Punt to Bas, hope for flick on and score - BORING - showed in the 2nd half when we started to use the ball o the deck were were good in moments and alright in others. Also Bas is crap on the ball, all legs and as the post-match discussion went "he's abit like Paulo Wanchop" (Sp?)!

Overall deserved the point, should've won but could've lost it at the death, happy in the end.
