The breathtaking arrogance of this 'man' is astounding. Not only has he been proved to be wrong, he then flatly denies it (although to be honest, this is the kind of response I was expecting from him), and tries changing the rules, all in the name of saving face. This whole argument, and ultimately his own petard, could have been spared if he hadn't made such a daft statement in the first place. We all make statements we think we can back up, then admit defeat when proved wrong, but it is evidently beyond this person's capability to do so.

So we're clearly beyond the realms of arrogance and into the world of stupidity. In a reasoned and sensible debating circle, this is not someone who can be taken seriously. He makes spurious claims, backs them up with nothing, gets told the truth, and doesn't know how to handle it, living as he does in a world of complete denial. It is writ large though his diatribes in the Argus forums.

I don't want to be too explicit here, but the word that springs to mind most of all here is 'thick', which then sets the question, 'why are we bothering with him?'

Unfortunately this is what happens when you give an open forum to any intellectually challenged moron to spout rubbish without needing to back up their statements with actual facts.

But even with septic's latest attempt to spin this - he is still wrong.

He said that B&H CC costs were double that of Lewes. The total LD costs (including consultants and officers as well as legal costs) is well over £350k. This is more than B&H CC who have 75% of the land in their jurisdiction and 98% of the construction site by area.

So not only has this plum been proved wong on his assertion that the costs are DOUBLE but actually the costs are LESS.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and this buffoon is HIGHLY dangerous

Don't be too hard on him. He did manage to turn quite a few 'un decideds' and even 'antis' into realising the merits of the stadium.

It should be noted that if they hadn't started their wild goose chase of an appeal both sides would have saved a small fortune that could have been spent on something better.
