And you can drink, and have a thoroughly good day out with a range of mates.

you see i dont agree with this, we have a regular group of us that use the supporters coach and we havent had one bad day at an away game yet, we always have a right laugh. As for drinking that can be made up for when we get to the ground, so that doesnt bother us

Really? If you were THAT bothered about drinking then you could quite easily do it on the Costa Express!!

Just dont be obvious about it!

And if the police inspect the coach (which they are quite entitled to do) then everyone would be turned back and not allowed to continue. Would you risk the wrath of the rest of the passengers all the way back home?

How many does the Costa Express seat??

Depends how many places they sell, and what vehicles are available to hire. They use more than one coach if the need arises.

Good point, Its bad enough having to sit on the coach going home after they have watched the game!

I think each coach is a 45 seater. There are two drivers for long trips (due to regulations) hot drinks (free) a loo, and cheap snacks/chocolate and soft drinks. They also make one stop at a services for the driver but also for buying food if that's what passengers prefer to do.
If you have a particular game in mind, just ring Liz, leave a message on her answerphone and she will get back to you.

I Think the seats are all 52. All the games ive been to were excellent. Liz is lovely and would do anything for anyone within reason.

Great way to get to games, sure you may not like people on there but doesnt mean that you have to speak to them!

Last season I managed every away game thanks to liz cos its the sort of travel you can go on alone and people will talk to you. And if you go on regular you get to know a lot of faces and great way to get to know people!

He was asking for websites.

And ill let Withdean Wanderer explain the problem with the coach.

There is no problem with the coach, only some people's opinion of it.

Might have been a bit harsh last night after a few beers.

Lovebus - OK if you want to see a game entirely for the football. It's better than nothing if you really have to go.

If you want a 'day out' though, it's a disaster. Get the train.

The reason i have so little money for home games is because i spent most of my money on away games.

Jesus! No shit sherlock! That was kind of my point.

You'll happily pay £40 on a day out away, but castigate the club for suggesting that you pay the going rate for your home ticket, on the grounds that you simply can't afford the additional £3 so they should just let you in for whatever you feel like paying.

Sorry mate, but that's bollocks.

Well i usually spend between 30 - 60 quid on away games.

You keep going on about this £3, im already paying £14 for the ticket, £2 booking fee and train fare to Preston Park. And anyway ive only done this a few times, i normally get myself organised and buy a student ticket in advance but as you cant buy student tickets online and im sometimes short of money, i get a child ticket. f*** me worse things happen in the world.

indeed they do, and if you're happy to cheat the club, carry on.

Two things though;

1. Don't waste your breath trying to justify it

2. Don't ever come on here bleating about how we should have signed this or that player, or met such and such's wage demands.

That's all.
