Stick them in the SW corner - that’ll work just fine - take away their acoustic advantage- just keep them well away from the mid/lower West near the half way line I don’t want my match experience being drowned out by singing away fans right next to me and there’s no way I will be buying a ticket in the South Stand (ugh!)

I'm in the minority on this one. Those South Stand seats are pretty unappealing. I can't say I'd be happy if I was shunted over there. It might improve the atmosphere in some games and the short term (Depending on where they are moved to) but it will still be the case that the the atmosphere will be lukewarm except for the most important of games.

SW corner is my preferred location for them. Really the club should be telling the affected STH already (if they haven't already).

I have never seen it as a bit issue. Maybe there's more space for corporate lounges behind the South stand?

Shouldn't the plans for this be announced before people renewed their season tickets ?

Anyway, I expect they'll be shifted round to the SW corner, so less of them will be picked up by the TV cameras.
It has. The 25/6 ST renewals will take place in early 2026.

Unless you’ve already paid for 2025/26 (that really would be a super fan), then this is nearly 12 months warning.

I agree about Sw corner. Has to be pitch side so that rules out East Upper. Unless you’re owned by the Saudis of course. Still no idea how they get away with that.
I didn't see the planned timescale mentioned so I assumed next season, but you're probably right, expect it'll be 25/26. There'd be too much agg now otherwise.

“With a £7m investment to pay back”

I struggle to understand how the fan zone can cost 7 million.
Given the amount of money I've just spent on a loft conversion to add a single bedroom to my fairly modest house, £7 million seems like a bargain to me. The UK is insanely expensive at the moment.

Just far enough away from LDC
It's a tough one. They can't go high up so needs at least some in lower tier. Wherever on east or south they will be in main tv picture. Corner looks less so maybe east/south corner but that's under the amex box. When we have to give bigger capacity then south end of east has been used and can be blocked off (but means the pizza kiosk will now become an away kiosk)

I just got a quote for painting and decorating a new office (about 3,000 sq feet), and hanging a few fixtures. £30k plus VAT! It included over £3k just to cover the floors before starting!
