[Albion] Away fans in the North Stand

I thought you were going to say that you had a coach load of Wolves fans sitting with you in the North Stand.
I thought they were a decent bunch of fans, took the piss out of themselves on the train home too.

Amazing day and result yesterday.

However, it irked me a bit to see away fans coming into the stand after the game. This is an absolute no, if they want to socialise, go into the pubs in the city centre.

Call me old fashioned but I love the tribal nature of football, so, having a couple if Wolves fans suddenly come in yesterday for beers was too far imo.

You're mad, it's nice that fans can mix after the game. At Chelsea walking back to the station a chap around the same age as me came up to our group and said we were the best team he'd watched for a long time. A nice gesture followed up the two behind him (not together).

Walked back to the station after the semi with some "proper" Utd fans who come from Manchester and follow them to every game. They were very honest and we had a good chat about not just the game but our season in general.

There's nothing wrong with meeting other team's supporters, you should try it.

They let them in the Swan before the gams as well. It was terrifying I tell you. People with funny coloured shirts on being all friendly and chatty. I screamed for a police officer but none turned up (bloody Tories). I am writing to my MP to demand we stop being nice to people.

A Wolves fan goes to a fancy dress shop to get a 70s outfit. Whilst trying on nylon flares and a big collared shirt the shop keeper asks if he wants a kipper tie. Two sugars plaaaise is the response.

Don’t go back to the 60s, whatever you do, when fans weren’t segregated.
I remember standing in the East stand with mixed fans.

I’ve happily had friends come into the North stand after a match, from various teams, Sheff Wed, Plymouth, Preston, Liverpool, and Crystal Palace!

Well, when you grow up, you might appreciate their friendly approach. I remember meeting Wolves fans in pubs in Brighton after a game at the Goldstone and they were a great bunch.
There was no other option to have a beer after the game then.

Given away games make up the overwhelming majority of the matches I go to, I'm quite glad I don't generally have to worry about getting my head kicked in nowadays.
Although I always wear my steel toecaps just in case.
Just in case somebody jumps on my foot while celebrating a goal.

The US had been swirling down the drain since Reagan allowed biased media to flourish. If there's been violence at sporting events down there, you can blame the culture war and resulting polarization of their society, since the GQP is entirely bereft of any concern for the country and only seeks to pit ordinary citizens against one another so they don't notice the 1%ers owning 90% of the economy anf lusting for even more.

For what it's worth, segregation only happens in football over here. For other sports we're expected to be able to deal with each other like normal people.

They are both in their late sixties and follow Wolves home and away and have done so for all their married life. They particularly like coming to the Amex because they meet up with me and our wider family and friends. They have always received a good welcome from Brighton fans and are confident wearing their colours in the stadium and around the city.
My brother used to live in Brighton and we are his second favourite team.

We are a friendly club so let's keep it like that.
