Surely taking the piss. You can hear the scouse accent when their fans sing. I am not too keen on the fake plastics from around here but let's be real.
Given the particular difficulty in obtaining season tickets at Anfield (due to it being possible to pass them onwards to friends/family, rather than surrendering back to the open market queue) it's certain that the vast majority of people in the away end will have been genuine scousers, not plastics.

It makes you wonder trying to be provocative or just thick as two planks? why wear an away scarf in a home section? Also surely that was easy to spot upon entry through the turnstiles?
Indeed it is a bit thick isn't it.

Saw a few what I assume to be Liverpool fans attending their first ever match posing in front of their team coaches and touching the “You’ll never walk alone” printed on the outside, all before wandering off to go in the west lower entrances. Harmless but very sad, it’s a coach with a badge on it.
Maybe they were bus spotters

Was really thrown in the WSU concourse when a couple asked if they could perch on the shelf next to us in the thickest scouse accents you can imagine, only to see their daughter had an Albion shirt and scarf on. Maybe we've managed to encroach in the NW of England and are now the team glory hunters up there pick to support 😂
Ha that is interesting. We'll have people that are not from Brighton or Sussex supporting us of course, however you cannot be labelled a glory hunter for supporting the Albion 🤣 These fans get my total respect and I class them a genuine supporters.

This is where I'm probably very ignorant but if my child asked me for a Man Utd/Chelsea/Liverpool shirt I'd say sure, then they'd simply be opening the packaging of Brighton top instead.

Someone I know who’s a faux scouser was in the NS last night. He’s been posting smug pics on FB. Looks like he was on a guest ticket
Smug pics from the home end all over Facebook? This is awkward🤣

[couple of notes, firstly I’m not giving my identity away on here, secondly we were quite smug and finally I'm not as short as Tommy Robinson, I was swaying like an MFI wardrobe after too much Heineken]

He didn't have it draped around his neck but was holding it in front of him while sat in his seat so a pretty good spot by the steward.

I’m sorry but you really need to see a dermatologist to have that blackhead seen to.

Presumably...

Witnessed this at half time in East Stand Upper last night. Very sad really - an "adult" goes to the football and ends up being handcuffed placed in a spit hood and then carried out of the stands by a lot of police. Took about 10 minutes to get rid of him. What was he thinking ?

Difficult to do that when a single cell occupies the void between his ears.

This will anger a few people here.

Lots of LFC supporting young families near us in the NS, but they kept quiet at the three goals. Cameras out photographing the scoreboard at 0-2 and 1-3.

Didn't cause any issues, harmless. The club struggled to shift the tickets to Albion supporters until they went to membership, so inevitable.

Identical to the annual visit from Arse, albeit with more Albion not bothering with a cup game.

I think most of us have sat quietly and respectfully in a home end. No problem with that at all. When I was a lot younger I didn't always behave so respectfully and was imo a bit of a twat myself.

If we dont shift the home sales then why not offer Liverpool a bigger allocation, hold back a few sections, or is that too sensible a solution?

Too sensible.

Then can you imagine the crying here from people not in their usual WSL or ESL seat.

True - We should have held back the whole of the South Stand and some of the adjoining East & West Lower and when home sales were not going so well offered Liverpool these extra seats instead of closing the West & East Upper sections and trying to force home support into these areas.
