Girl sat next to me was there to take as many photos and videos of the players wearing red. Had a bloke with her and at HT they went down for food. They missed the first LFC goal which the girl must have been gutted about not getting it on video.

But … they were respectful. No obvious celebration of the Liverpool goals and they did clap ours. So in a sense they weren’t much different to a load of Albion fans that are sat in the rows in front of me 😁

I had great fun, childish I know, saying in a loud voice as 2 Liverpool fans near me returned late to their seats and missed the first goal ‘what a goal, maybe the best goal I’ve ever seen at the Amex, worth the admission price alone just for that’. It helped ease the sadness I was otherwise feeling …..

There was a guy sat a couple of rows behind me in the WSU with a Liverpool scarf but looked like he was sitting with friends who were Albion fans. The steward spotted it and asked him to come down to the stairwell. Bloke came back a couple of minutes later - not sure if the scarf was just well hidden or kept for safe keeping but couldn't be seen. He was fine and I thought it was very sensible stewarding.

Someone I know who’s a faux scouser was in the NS last night. He’s been posting smug pics on FB. Looks like he was on a guest ticket

Had a couple of teenage Liverpool fans in front of me. Spent the whole game filming every Liverpool attack on their phones.

They kept their heads down though and caused no harm. Not like they were taking seats off Brighton supporters either, seeing as the game didn't sell out.

It makes you wonder trying to be provocative or just thick as two planks? why wear an away scarf in a home section? Also surely that was easy to spot upon entry through the turnstiles?

Were there any genuine scouses in attendance? 'Big 6' clubs are just full of plastic tourists. It must be a nightmare getting tickets. It does show you the commercial pull of these big named clubs. We have a small taste of it with the Japanese fans and Mitoma. When Mitoma leaves, he takes all those followers with him.

Surely taking the piss. You can hear the scouse accent when their fans sing. I am not too keen on the fake plastics from around here but let's be real.

Was really thrown in the WSU concourse when a couple asked if they could perch on the shelf next to us in the thickest scouse accents you can imagine, only to see their daughter had an Albion shirt and scarf on. Maybe we've managed to encroach in the NW of England and are now the team glory hunters up there pick to support 😂

Saw a few what I assume to be Liverpool fans attending their first ever match posing in front of their team coaches and touching the “You’ll never walk alone” printed on the outside, all before wandering off to go in the west lower entrances. Harmless but very sad, it’s a coach with a badge on it.

Agree - spotted loads but they all seemed to be well behaved. Struggle to get annoyed about this one as I imagine the stadium would have been a few thousand emptier at least without the plastic Scousers
