I got caught at 5 am on a Sunday doing 52 mph through them
Wrong again? Remind me of what I said as fact that was not.
I don't. I try my best to get out of it, and when all else fails I take the pints and fine. Meanwhile, you can continue to think that some old out-dated sign is a better indicator of safety than your own judgement.
I think his username of happypig might be a giveaway.
OopsYou can add drink driving to the charge, M'Lud
That was more of a question (with missing question mark), rather than a statement of fact, but regardless, you said 'wrong again', so what was the first thing I was so wrong about? This :
And I reiterate, I've never been a defendant.
Might not though. I'm not now, nor have I ever been a policeman.

Do they work at night? They don't appear to have floodlights near the cameras to illuminate number plates in the dark as they did on the M25.
And 600+ speeding convictions along that stretch in a week?? I think they're fibbing.
In which case I sincerely hope you never get the knock on the door to say your son or daughter has been run over and killed by someone doing a few miles an hour over the limit. Or would it suddenly bother you then?
I make it a point to never know who is driving my car I have no respect for speed limits.
To be fair to the rest of NSC, I don't think it's people, I think it's just me.
I didn't say that. Some speed limits are lower than what is nice and safe, others are higher. The fact that you can drive at 60 on a twisty country lane, where you can barely pass an on-coming vehicle, while there are decent A roads with lower speeds limits is a joke.
Some local built up areas have just had their limit reduced to 20mph. Is 30mph on those roads unsafe, and if so, what speed would you have driven on them before the limit was reduced? Would you have driven at the unsafe limit of 30, or would you have used your common sense and driven at 20?
Does the average speed check start and finish with the yellow cameras?
Can you start to speed up exactly after you've passed the 2nd yellow camera?
Sometimes, there are lines on the ground before/after the actual camera, hence my question!Bit of a Darwin Award question, that one!
Just think about it for a minute and I'm sure you'll work out the answer.
