Easy answer to that,when u get near to the single lane straddle the 2 lanes and it stops people from coming round you,van and lorry drivers do it all the time and so do i,stops the fuckwits in their tracks.

Why deliberately block an open lane. People should use both lanes and courteously filter at the filter point. There should be no need to block because the queue should be same length in both lanes.
