Think he'll do a cracking job there. Great manager away from the ego's at Chelsea and will be given much more time. Good luck to him.

Probably working!
Apparently Tim Sherwood is in charge of buying/selling players.
I am guessing he played there at the same time as Gustavo, did they get on?
Maybe he'll sort us out with some good loan signings!

It'll be interesting to see how he does without having to clear the deck of a load of OAPs. The squad at Tottenham should suit him as well.

Bad decision i say! He was given enough time at Chelsea to make things happen and nothing did, Di Matteo had to clean up after him! To be honest spurs should of tried harder to keep Harry Redknapp or at least get a manager in that has shown potential in the Premier League!!

Di Matteo had a poor record too. Other than the obvious.

I don't think AVB had much of a say with the likes of Frank Lampard, John Terry and Ashley Cole around..

Great manager, and really looking forward to seeing what he can do with Tottenham next season. It'll be interesting to see if he can keep Modric and who he would want to bring in.

Spurs have suddenly become more likeable.

What makes him a 'great' manager? He managed an incredible Porto team for 1 season, and granted they won the league and Europa League, but 1 season. He led Academia to safety, but again was there for 1 season.

He keeps talking about 'long term projects' but has never stayed in a job longer than a season. He's never played the game at any level. He is completely and utterly unproven at this point and he's getting top jobs, amazing, the only great thing he certainly has is selling himself and interview technique.

I've nothing against managers who haven't played, but normally they work their way up from lower leagues.

Jury is out, but I'll think he'll struggle.
