Disappointed it didn't go into a heavy dub section with lots of reverb and bass cutting in and out, echoing all over the place, but good heavy stuff. I'd love to see them live. :)

I first discovered Prince Jazzbo when I bought this compilation album, over forty years ago now! Toasting over the "Stars" rhythm, one of my favourites. The b side of this album was all dubs as was the vogue in the mid-seventies. I then bought "Natty Passing Through", a classic Jazzbo album which I can highly recommend.

Made a mix of one of my favourite rhythms using Virtual dj today. Stay away, and Gyal Season Rhythm. i.e. original rhythm and the later version of it.
Not perfect, but I just love that tune
Thought it would be celebratory, as convinced we would win today, but there you go.

Hi all.

Just finished a mix of early reggae (very roughly 68 - 72) originals & their DJ versions, for a good mate of mine who's not very well at the moment, so thought i'd share it on here as well!!

All strictly vinyl 45s from the collection! Let me know what you think, hopefully it meets the approval of such an esteemed group!

Cheers.

Cracking mix. I used to make tapes with vocal/dub/dj versions, especially Treasure Isle and Studio 1. If I could find them, I probably couldn't upload them-or could I?
