Thanks for this Dave.

I remember seeing White Mice at the Top Rank Suite when Augustus Pablo was playing there. As was Pablo's way, he was showcasing young artists and Yami Bolo was on that bill too. White Mice never went onto the success Yami Bolo had and I have no white mice tunes in my box, so good to see some of his tunes here. I look forward to listening to this one.

No doubt you would have been in attendance at that Pablo gig anyway as KingTafariLoveMuzik was the resident sound for the night as per usual

to be honest familyman...theres about 20 years of support that seems to just blur into one big gig haha.. I cant imagine how many bands we supported over the years...
White Mice had some success, but mostly in J.A. rather than overseas.... they were good times...

Silver has sent me a bunch of files of the old soul version followed by the reggae version thats just wicked...not a mix so cant put them really, and I dont have the facilities..
I would imagine that apart from the obvious roots tunes, most of studio one originated from a soul tune.

Back to the soul/reggae talk, a lot of the tunes on this mix iv heard on studio one or early labels. Some beautiful tunes on it.
Think ill put it on the main board for the soul merchants who wouldnt look in a reggae thread.
