Waited at East Croydon for 2 mins for a train that was 90 minutes late. Given a single flake of snow falling on th e 'rail network'you've got zero chance on the timetable, you just wait for a train that randomly arrives. Seems to me the Southern snow timetable was designed more to save them fines from the regulator than to serve commuters with a solid schedule. Today just meant there were more people fighting to get on less randomly arriving trains.

Warning for anyone travelling to Brum by train tomorrow, Virgin have had a lot of problems on the WCML with broken down trains and are contemplating running a reduced service tomorrow or running at restricted speed

Saw on Twitter they ran at reduced speed today and a train caught fire near Rugby !!

Virgin have no restrictions tomorrow as well now and are offering full refunds, though I booked with Southern and Virgin said take it up with them. No reply yet though, do you know anything about that ?

And do restrictions still apply for Southern tomorrow ?
