They used to serve it for school dinners. It was terrible. This is a sachet of smash. It has an alien on it.

School dinners is a bizarre concept - feeding children hot meals at lunch time - crazy!!

and now you feed uni students dried mashed flakes of paper with aliens on the packaging - dear god on high...

I can't drink cos of my medication.
The cake is quite tricky. I've had to draw out plans and everything. I've never iced a cake before. I'll post the pics on here so you can judge my icing skills!

Be careful with the roll out icing and food colouring, it bleeds badly if you aren't careful. I tried to take the short cut when I made a Lilo and Stitch cake and ended up having to bake a whole new cake when it all bled into some sort of vomit like masterpiece.

Cheers. I was going to make the stripes in separate batches. One blue, one white, and then lay them on the cake separately. Hopefully that should stop any colour bleeding.

Which is exactly what I should have done, but I was trying to be quick. Oh well. I did it with frosting in the end at about 3am on the day of the littlest starry's first birthday.
