First league game in their new 26,500 capacity stadium. 22,264 people turn up to watch the game against Scunny.

Cardiff has a population of 321,000 and a big surrounding area. Brighton & Hove has a population of 247,800 and a big surrounding area.

I predict a crowd of 18,500 for the first game at Falmer.

No mate. It'll be a sellout.

But their new stadium was nowhere near as big a deal as ours, seeing as they already had one. Full house for the 1st league game at Falmer imo.

if our first home game at falmer is against a team like scunthorpe then it wont be a sellout because they wont sell their allocation.

I think we will sell out. The name Falmer has been brandished around for some years. I think alot of football fans in the area will try and get tickets for the first league game. Not just Brighton fans.

I Predict - Sell Out

I think it depends on whether we're a Championship, League One, or League Two team on opening day

I still think that even if we are in league 1 it will sell out. The Brighton fans who we lost to the likes of Crawley and Eastbourne will start coming back out of the woodwork.

The sooner they issue the naming rights to the North Moulscoomb stadium the better. We can then resign to History the odious negative 'F' word.

It is and never will be Falmer stadium, lets stop referring to it as such.

Cardiffs ground looked like yet another single-tier identikit jobbie did't it. Same as Leicesters, same as Southamptons. Bo-ring.
Cheap and nasty corrugated plastic as well.

the albion has had the summer to sell tickets for the first ame of this season and they got 6500 for yesterdays game. What have they been doing.. or more importantly what have they not been doing? The "wait until falmer" message is lazy.
