Really, how effective is pissing on someone in regards to putting out a fire?

i reckon that if someone was on fire, perhaps a loved one, the pressure would get to the wee-er

it'd be VERY difficult to produce enough piss on demand, to put a fire out

depends on the size of the fire though i guess.........i've pissed out a bbq before, didn't smell too good

Just to be clear - I've closed ATFPT of my own free will, I was not asked or instructed to do so.

Long before I took over NSC, a situation occurred whereby someone associated with the club effectively imposed some censorship on the board, trying to keep some questionable news out of the public domain.

I vowed that when I took over NSC this would never happen again. And I intend to stick to that, even if the discussion in question is thought to be overly harsh.

I will, of course, act on anything that is potentially libellous as soon as alerted and I will, of course, extend a 'right to reply' to anyone feeling they are taking undue stick.

I believe it is preferable to not doing so...

What about "stop, drop and roll"? What about smothering the fire with a blanket? A fire extinguisher (careful with them though, don't what to choke the victim or poison them)? All more helpful than pissing on someone.

Of course... I was talking purely about piss / or no piss in isolation.

Perhaps prevention is the key here. The club need to introduce measures to ensure that the risk fan combustion is mitigated.

well if they stopped the stewards behaving like neanderthals then fans wouldn't get so hot under the collar. That would be a start

IMHO the club have scored 'the' classic own goal on this.

Yes this board has its' idiots and so do all club forums. However when compared to other clubs, NSC provides some terrific insight with intelligent, thoughtful and meaningful subjects and discussions (as well as a load of old tat :lolol:).

What must be remembered is the part played by us the fans in the very survival of the club and the achievement of Falmer. It is this srecial and unique relationship which is the true fabric and for the club to be so thin skinned and to take exception to LB in particular is shocking.

I sincerely hope it is not an example of the club going in a much more commercial direction to the detriment of Joe Public in favour of Corp Hospitality Ltd. Both have their place and both should be able to co-exist to the mutual benefit of BHAFC.

It would be nice for the club to swiftly reconsider their position, have a sensible dialogue with the mods of this forum and for normal service to be resumed asap.

Bozza & LB etc. are pretty much 100% spot on with their attitudes and I am sure take their responsibility very sensibly. I hope the club do the same.

I believe (despite the long held view of them as stupid) Neandethals had full control of fire, and had the tools to create use it whenever required.

Therefore, the stewards need to have any iron objects, flint and anything that can be used for tinder taken off them... just in case.
