The Amex would have been poisonous tonight after that second half. No subs until the 84th minute? Pitiful.

Can't see him being sacked as it would mean the Ashworth 'model' has failed. And too many people seem content with playing pretty football and not winning

Most would have left by the 84th to be fair.

I remain very hopeful and positive. Give Welbeck another 300 minutes of football and I can see us posing a lot more problems for teams as the season progresses.

It’s highly frustrating but we are close to being a decent outfit. Lallana looks a great signing and with him Trossard, Welbeck & Maupay we have enough goals.

I’m fully behind Potter.

How will changing the manager make a difference ? They've had a really good season. It's just not happening at the moment. Clubs keep changing managers and how often does it have the desired effect ? The average manager lasts 18 months. I'm happy for Potter to be here long term. Even if we do go down. I like watching the Albion these days.

Brighton are frustratingly relegated in 2021 but the owner shows faith with the manager, retaining his services for the following season. The club are promoted at the first attempt and return to the Premier League with something to prove. The club show steady progress, consolidating their place in the top flight with a sequence of mid table finishes, placing 9th in the 2024/25 seasons. The following season proves arduous and the club narrowly avoid relegation with only a couple of matches to spare. One week on and the club announce that Potter is leaving by mutual consent.

So 2026 then.

This is the same Graham Potter who took Swansea to 10th. He jumped ship and they progressed to 6th without him...

Me too

I am loving the coverage of the '' Trump Meltdown ''

It’s pretty good stuff isn’t it? We’re living through a proper moment in history! Last time I remember a politician in such denial was Comical Ali!

I can't see a need to sack him at the moment.
We are not getting spanked 3 or 4 goals every game and we are far away from the way we played when Houghton was sacked.
We are playing well, very good football indeed
Considering today we had no dunk, march, trossard or alzate we still had an excellent side out there who got a draw against a pretty decent team.
The issue is turning the great football into goals and I am happy to give potter more time because it will defenitely happen.
Welbeck seemed decent alongside maupay in their first game together
Lalana was magnificent not just in his play but you could hear his voice loads on the radio getting the team organised.
Lamptey was fantastic as always.
All three of these are Graham potter signings and new to the club but I think it shows what he is all about.
The only issues I have are the short corners when we have so much height in the box, maupay not shooting at the best opportunity and possibly the goalkeeper but none of these are reason to sack the manager.
The only thing that a reason is if the players lose confidence in potters system or potter loses the dressing room then it's a difficult situation but we will never know what goes on behind the scenes anyway.
We are 1 point behind man u,I feel potter has us in a much better state than solkjskaer has that lot.
I'm sure TB has all angles covered regardless.
It's also worth remembering that we have all become armchair fans now which is a miserable experience in itself, would some still feel as much negativity had they actually been there today?those little moments when we nearly score or the touches and passes met with a round of applause make all the difference when we ponder the performance.
JC and Warren were there and they were very positive.
Also we make a difference when we are there.
My biggest issue is not when should potter be sacked it's when can I go to a game?

I wouldn't sack him because we aren't going to hire Mauricio Pochettino. We should stick with him, allow him to continue shaping his squad as he wants to with another January window and then another summer window. I do want him to stop acting like such a wet blanket and start expecting his players to score some goals and win some games but we're generally trending in the right direction in my opinion. Changing a manager isn't necessarily going to bring success in the longer term and it's clear the impact he is attempting to have on the club and I think the structure and infrastructure is solid. The team performances need additional cutting edge and I wouldn't be picking the teams that Potter is, but if Bloom and Barber are content with his general performance around the club then he should crack on.

TB great business man but keep having shitty windows and it’s going to fail, still can’t believe we didn’t go all out for a striker this window and how it’s costing us. The lad Nunez can’t stop scoring we just can’t score. We can’t keep taking punts in the PL and hope it works out it rarely does at this level. Before someone says we bid £25m for Nunez we didn’t if we had done he would be a Brighton player.
