Brighton factually.....
Agree with those saying this formation and or personnel changes have been forced on the manager.

If it is 3 at the back here's the trick to making it work. The wing backs need to make sure our centre backs are never exposed out wide to pacey wingers. Primarily they are there to defend. Especially away.
hmmmmm, I get that…..
Let the center mid and the forward line go get the goals
Oh hang on, I knew there was a punchline Somewhere.

Feels like hands forced for this 3 at the back formation.

Pervis is obviously injured, Solly can only manage 10 mins, mitoma/veltman played a few days ago and did a lot of running so probably have niggles.

With no alternative full backs (Ferdi, Hinslewood, Milner injured) then we've been forced into a back 3 + wingbacks.

Not sure how much blame on manager we can have here, as not sure what other option he has to go.

I must admit I'm sceptical. We've never looked defensively settled with a back 3...

Hopefully Enciso is on form tonight as don't see us keeping a clean sheet, so we'll need shooting boots on.
Enciso always wears his shooting boots. Unfortunately, he doesn't possess a pair of scoring boots.

How are so many of our players constantly getting injured?

Albion in 2 games in 4 days rotation shocker!

At least Emery can’t prepare for a back 3 or 4 either

Initial thoughts

Veltman - minutes being managed considering he’s back from injury

Pervis - Rested / Dropped, he’s not been great recently and found wanting positionally. Kick up the arse hopefully

Mitoma - Needs a rest, fair enough he takes defenders on but hasn’t added much of late, Adingra better on the left than right and hopefully his job is to tore out their right back for Mitoma on 60 mins

Gruda - keeps his place deserved

Enciso - Good he’s been given another chance, hopefully the shot stat has been fed back to him along with decision making

Expect us to play more compact and hopefully have a game plan, Veltman on later to manage the game out if needed

One slight issue........................he's been total gash when he has got a game!
Don't agree and he's a specialist in a position we have no cover.

There are far worse full back understudies in this league

For whatever reason all these injuries are happening we need to design a squad around 10 to 12 all being injured at any one time

I was quite optimistic before I saw this line-up. No pressure from the Amex home fans etc but Igor at left whatever is a disaster and Ayari needs to do something special. The manager doesn't seem to know his best team or even his best formation. Villa and other top teams seem to be able to field a settled team and formation every time. I fear we will be all over the place.
