My son rang me yesterday and asked 'what you doing saturday Dad?' - going to the tip son. No you're not, you are coming to the Villa game (he is a Villa fan) with me. he has got 2 tickets in the Doug Ellis stand for us. I will be sat with the 'enemy' sporting my Falklands scarf, as wearing my BHA colours would probably not be a good idea.

My tickets for Villa arrived in the post ...a few minutes ago.

Club says my ticket was posted 2nd class on Thursday 11th but it's still not turned up after 6 days! They advised me to call them on Friday a.m. if it's still a no show by then and they'll "organise alternatives" for Saturday.

My tickets were posted/date stamped Monday and arrived this morning. yep.
If they still don't arrive. They will put you on the duplicates list which means - normally - they cancel your original tickets and you pick up new ones from Aston Villa ticket office on Saturday afternoon.

I just went and checked the envelope, mine were sent on Friday 12th, postmarked by Royal Mail at 20:12 on Friday 12th at the Gatwick Mail Centre... and arrived in East Grinstead on Wednesday 17th at around 1pm.

A distance of 7.6 miles by road, covered in 112 hours = 0.06mph

I've heard of snail mail, but didn't realise 2nd Class post was quite so relaxed these days!

Arrived home from work and still no tickets today. I bought them 3 weeks ago.. Very rarely do away games but should I now be panicking or taking some action?

My biggest concern is that I’m at work all day tomorrow and won’t know until roughly this time tomorrow if they have arrived or not. Which I’m guessing will be after supporter services have logged off for the day!

Do supporter services work on a Saturday? Assuming they don’t arrive tomorrow, I’ll have to phone them whilst driving to Birmingham and hope that they can arrange duplicates for collection whilst I’m on route!

Glad I don’t go away very often, what a palaver this is…

My nephew is travelling with us and he bought his on Saturday and it arrived today. Got mine on 29th October and nothing…
Think I’ll phone them tomorrow morning as a precaution…

Sorry both. Yes. I'd talk it through with supporter services first thing in the am. What they've done for me in the past is call outside office hours to deal with this type of thing.
That said as i think they send up the tickets with one of the coaches and they might be travelling up tomorrow with the first team - i'd speak to them asap.

Mine arrived this morning, got the postman to check inside envelope for me via ring doorbell, otherwise I was gonna phone them today as I won’t know if they would have arrived by time support services shut tomorrow as heading up tomorrow after work as seeing family on route …..
