Moaning Fans re Sunderland
Insider
Having read all the threads (as many as there is) I would hope I speak for a majority of the fans (quite obviously not all!) that understands that if you buy a season ticket you do not pay the full value for your seat as you have made the commitment for the season therefore get a discount and as stated in the T&C's cup games are charged separately. I also understand that the Gillingham game was discounted due to lower league opposition and the need for an incentive to fill seats.
What I do not understand is the fans that can not work out that if they want to come and see us play Sunderland they have to pay the normal price for a game, (i.e.the price non season ticket holders have to pay).
Compared with paying £30 for Fratton Park on Saturday surely our prices are very competitive.
I would hope most fans can see that the club is a business and they obviouslty think the prices for tickets are right and at the end of the day everyone has the right not to buy a ticket and talk with their feet. I suspect that the crowd will be alot more then the moaners think!!
