can people PLEASE stop suggesting random players who are available, and asking if we're aware of them

of course we are, most of them are either shit, or out of our price range

Have to admit it winds me up too. In fact I am surprised that it is not listed in the rules.

"We are a professional club with a network of scouts and agents. When players become available we get sent an email and a text message and if we are lucky a phone call. We do not need you to tell us."

yer u got a problem with that?

Yes, it's a stupid question and not the point of the forum.

The Insider is an administrative employee of the club who kindly gives up his time to answer questions from fans. Drivel such as the Ince question is a waste of his time. Hundreds of players have been released this summer, so it's ridiculous to start listing out 'special' ones.

The only people involved in the signing of players is McGhee and DK, and they are likely to know that Ince is available as

1. They can read the newspapers
2. The PFA automatically make available a list of released players as soon as it happens.

.......and after playing his career at Upton Park, Old Trafford, San Siro, Anfield, The Riverside and Molyneux do you honestly think that Ince wants to finish it on £1200 a week at our chickenshit dump of a ground?

but don't forget that most people posting suggested signings are doing so based on their years of experience playing CM/FM rather than any actual football knowledge (or in Ince's case, they saw him on the telly once in a white shirt with blood on it) :dunce:

I know people mean well, but do you honestly think the following is actually going to take place

(scene 1) The Insider reads comment about Ince/Gazza being available via a post on NSC. He instantly prints it off and runs into MM's office, who is busy deciding whether to give his team talk for Rotherham wearing a fake flower in his lapel that shoots water or instead focus on making giraffes out of balloons.

Insider "Magoo, I have just read that Ince is available on NSC"

Magoo" Get me his agent and Dick Knight on the phone now, and where are my comedy breasts? We will meet him on the M1 in an hour. He is clearly the answer to our centre half/left back/ experienced striker problem"

(scene 2) Magoo and Bob Booker seen jumping into a 3/8 size fire engine with only three wheels manned by half a dozen dwarfs which screeches out of Withers, the front of the fire engine has a hastily inscribed chalk message on a blackboard "Wulverhamton"

(scene 3) Magoo announces Ince as new club captain on Seagulls World, instantly Dwayne starts a poll inscribed "Magoo out now for signing over the hill players"

It's not going to happen is it........
