I see the Ashley baiting has started already. How ridiculous. Top scorer, hard worker AND someone who knows how to score from the spot, he has been an important part of our team.

I do not understand why he is held to a higher standard than other players we have, it does not seem fair at all.

What Ashley baiting?
The OP asked the question and people give their opinion.
Just because I don't think he is good enough at the moment, doesn't mean I am not going to support him and the team at matches.

I would be very surprised if Barnes starts many games this season, especially if Gus is successful in his quest for a new striker. I have a lot of time for Barnes who works very hard but I just don't think he's quick enough in thought or actions for the upper levels of the Championship, where we are hoping to be this year.
